REDCROSS PRIZE 2021
On the occasion of this year's Redcross assembly the Swiss Redcross (SRK) honored the Afghanistanhelp with the Redcross Prize 2021 for its long standing and extraordinary humanitarian servic in Afghanistan.
OUR PROJECTS
For 33 years the Afghanistanhilfe has been involved in the areas of education, health, fighting poverty and providing emergency aid. Have a look and find out where and with what projects we are supporting the poorest.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Our major concern at the Afghanistanhilfe is to promote women in particular and in a sustainable manner. Your donation will enable girls and women to gain access to education and healthcare facilities. In this way we strengthen the position of women and through them also society.
What we do
For more than 30 years the Afghanistanhilfe has been committed to the people in Afghanistan. In close cooperation with local project partners, we have realised Afghanistanhilfe development projects in the areas of education, health, fighting poverty and providing emergency relief.
HEALTH
About 100,000 patients per year receive medical treatment in our health centres.
ORPHANAGES
Our four orphanages offer a new home to about 200 half-orphans and orphans.
EMERGENCY RELIEF
Thanks to urgently required food distributions human lives are saved every year.
